Zoya Twinkling Holiday 2019 Collection

Oh hey, I've got another post! Look at me go! I have a fabulous holiday collection from Zoya to share. All of the formulas were easy to work with with no issues to report. I did switch out the standard brush with the Z-wide brush which always improves application for me. Let's take a look..

Zoya Sensual Collection Fall 2019

Hello lovelies! I have the amazing Zoya Sensual Fall collection to show you and I only have good things to say about it! It may just be my favorite Zoya collection. While not every shade is totally unique and a must have, they all have really nice formulas and I truly liked each one. There are a few stand out shades that I am really loving though. Let's get to the swatches..

Zoya Barefoot Summer 2019 Collection

Hello lovelies! I have the new Zoya Barefoot Summer 2019 collection to share! There are twelve shades in all- including cremes, shimmers, and one glitter topper. Most of the formulas were good, and a couple took a little more effort. I wish I had the Z-wide brush for all of them because I think that would have made a difference in application. Let's take a look..

Zoya Innocence Collection Spring 2019

Hello Society Sisters! Are you ready for Spring collections to start rolling in? I didn't know I was until I saw this one! I am totally in love with the color palette and the mood it evokes. These still come with the normal skinny Zoya brush but I did try a couple with the new stand alone Z-Wide brush. Let's take a look..

Introducing INNOCENCE, the newest collection by Zoya for Spring 2019 that is evocative of nature and the transitions from Winter to Summer. Complete with its own thunderstorm in the color Theo, this collection is stormy and subtle, yet features a touch of brightness and softness.

Zoya Element Fall 2018 Collection

 *purchased by me

Hello ladies! I'm excited to share the Zoya Element Fall collection with you! I purchased it a few weeks back when Zoya had an awesome deal (essentially buy one, get one free). At first glance it may seem a bit boring and repetitive with all the pinks, reds, and purples. Honestly though I was pleased with almost every shade and there are many that I can't wait to wear again. It seems to me that the creme formulas have changed to be a bit thicker. I don't mind that much, I just wasn't prepared for it at first. I know I had some staining from one/some of the darker shades but can't say who is the culprit because I noticed it later. That's no surprise though with dark reds. Well let's get into it already..

UberChic Beauty Collection 22 and Got Chevron? 01 Stamping Plates Review

Hello lovelies! I have some UberChic Beauty stamping plates to share with you today! There were so many images I loved in Collection 22 that I had to do two from each plate. The Got Chevron plate has some pretty good images too, but I was hoping to see just a couple more traditional chevron images from it. I kept each of these looks pretty simple so they're all totally recreate-able.

Rainy Days With Zoya

Hello lovelies! It's been a lazy week spent inside watching the rain, wind, and lightning storms. All this wet Spring weather has put me in some kind of mood, and I've found myself reaching for polishes that reflect that with moody shades. I pulled together these four Zoya polishes that seemed to be made for each other and created some rainy day nail art. Before we get to that I wanted to show them each off individually.

15 Gorgeous Green Nail Polishes for St. Patrick's Day

Green-tings lads and lasses! If you've been following my blog, you'll know that in the past I haven't been that big on green. But I think it's time to admit that I have been converted! I have so many STUNNING greens that haven't seen enough love, and what better time to share them, than this month for St. Patrick's Day? I have compiled a list of 15 fabulous shades which are a mixture of mainstream and indie polishes. Some of these are just what you'd expect for the holiday, but I've included a few unexpected shades as well. Enjoy!

ABC Challenge: R is for Redo

Hey peeps! As I mentioned in my last post I went out of town this weekend, and I was totally stressed by all the preparation for it. I thought I had planned my blog posts as well as I could but completely forgot that the ABC Challenge was scheduled to start back up last Friday! Whoops. Thank goodness some of the participants were more on the ball, not only did I forgot my post but the linkup as well. I'm sorry this is almost a week late.. but here is it.

31DC2016 Day 19: Negative Space Galaxy

I am working hard to keep on track for the 31 Day Challenge. This post is a day late, but I will have the next one up shortly after. The basic look of this mani is pretty similar to what I've done in the past. I wanted to add another element of design to these galaxy nails so I threw in (or would I be taking it away?) some negative space too.

Paint All The Nails Presents Pastel Geometric

Hello lovelies! Today is my favorite day of the month where I get to participate in the Paint All The Nails link-up! This month's theme is "pastel geometric". I love geometric nails, but I always have the hardest time photographing pastel nail art. My solution this time was a lot of contrasting black lines and that seemed to do the trick!

Paint All The Nails Presents Dry Brush

Happy Thanksgiving!!! I have SO much to be thankful for this year, including all of you wonderful people! Today's post is my second Paint All The Nails link up and I think it will result in some really amazing manis like the last one did (view it here)!

When the theme for this month was chosen I decided to cheat a little and use a mani that I hadn't posted yet. It's not as ambitious as I might have aimed for, but not having the stress was worth it.

Feeling Irish For A Day With Zoya Staasi

Hey everyone! I feel like it's been so long since I've posted! I have been going through a kitchen remodel and it has made life more complicated than usual. It's coming along well though, and I'm so excited for a new kitchen! With the tiny bit of extra energy that I've had, I did some simple nail art.

Candy Striped Valentine

Alright ladies, you asked for it (*not really)! I have another Valentine's Day mani for y'all. This mani's design is cute and simple and was inspired by Very Emily's Pinstripe Bow Nails. I LOVED how Emily put the hearts together to create a darling little bow. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to recreate it. What could be more perfect than making it into a Valentine's mani?

Neapolitan Ice Cream With Caramel

Recently I was having random thoughts about Neapolitan ice cream (random being the operative word). And like just about any thought I have nowadays, it leads me to wonder, 'How could I put that on my nails?' So that's how today's mani happened. I was reminded of my idea when I did last week's Quatrefoil Skittlette, with two of the shades looking a little like chocolate and vanilla. If I remember correctly, the brand we always bought when I was a kid had the vanilla in the middle. For this design though I kept the colors a little more muted and arranged in a gradient fashion. Then for a little more pizzazz, I added caramel sprinkles on top. Yum!

Fall Harvest Water Marble

I started this mani with the thought of combining Fall colors. When it was finished, instead of Fall, it reminded me a little more of the 1970's color palette. Of course, that palette is based off the same colors, just with weirder and uglier shades of it. Probably the most iconic color from this period is known as "harvest gold". Where the gold mixes with the brown on my nails it's the perfect representation. So here I have for you an odd and intriguing Fall Harvest mani.

31DC2014 Day 14: Patriotic-esque Floral Print

I had a few floral designs ideas for today. I decided against all of them yesterday once I saw a lady in church wearing this pattern. I almost asked her if I could take a photo of her dress for reference. But I don't know her and didn't want her to think I was a weirdo. Because people who do know me already know I'm a weirdo.
