Nail Polish Christmas Ornaments
Today I have a fun post that I am excited to share with you! I have been having way too much fun making these nail polish ornaments! I've had a few fails but I am starting to get the hang of it. I've seen a few people make these and was interested but wasn't quite motivated until I saw this post by Nails Always Polished. Her ornaments looked so good because of the decorations she added to the outside of the ornaments. That was my original intent in starting these but I've still been too afraid to mess up any of my pretty ones.

18 Christmas/Holiday Nail Art Ideas
It's that time of year and Christmas is almost upon us! With all your hustling and bustling you may not have had much time for your nails. Well I hope you can find some time to relax and enjoy yourself. Of course one of my favorite ways to relax is to paint my nails! I've created some mostly simple nail art looks if you wanted to spice up your holiday manis. You can pick one look to do on each nail, just for an accent, or mix and match them. I hope you find a little inspiration here and enjoy all the festivities!

Candy Cane Swirl
My number one rule for December: keep life simple, simple, simple. With the tendency for the holiday season to get a little frantic, I can be easily overwhelmed. Once that happens, I curl up in a ball and get nothing accomplished. So I aim to keep the presents easy, not overload my schedule, and go with the flow. Of course, just as I cross everything off my list and reach my zen, I remember my son's birthday is three days after Christmas :P. He's turning five this year, which means I can't keep his celebrations as basic as I once did.
Now on to the nails. In accordance with my above^ rule, I have kept my nails s i m p l e. Thinking of a complicated design hurts my brain right now. And really, I just like how this looks better.

Christmas Zebra Print
I finally have some holiday nail art for you today! I was in the middle of swatching a few polishes and had the need for some easy nail art. Animal print is my go-to for quick and easy nail art. This zebra print is sort of my follow up to last year's Christmas leopard print mani. It doesn't read "zebra" very strongly in this color combo, but it still comes across as Christmas-y, which was my main intention.

Christmas Leopard Print
Well December is finally here. I'm not a crazy-about-Christmas kind of person, but I couldn't resist starting off the month with a wild Christmas leopard print mani. I have a lot more Christmas themed ideas that I really hope turn out! Christmas or not, I am really feeling the winter vibe now. Although I'm not happy about the freezing temperatures, I really enjoy focusing on different colors with the changing seasons.
The base color is two coats of OPI Bagota Blackberry. I have been wanting to buy this polish for years. I seriously don't know what took me so long, but I finally bought it last month! I don't regret it, I think it's gorgeous. For the gold dots, I used OPI Liquid Sand Honey Ryder, and painted the color on straight out of the bottle. Since I used a top coat you don't get to see the texture of the polish in all of its glory, but the color is still so pretty. With a small dotting tool I applied A England Saint George around the gold dots.
What I used:
OPI Bagota Blackberry
A England Saint George
OPI Liquid Sand Honey Ryder
What do you think? Too wild, or just enough?
