31DC2016 Day 15: Abstract Vines

Hello and happy halfway! Yep, we are halfway through the 31 Day Challenge (that's how I like to split an odd number of days) and it feels so good. There is still so much more to do, but if I have made it this far I have high hopes of completing the challenge. I proudly told my husband last night that I was working on day 15, and he informed me he was on day 14 of The Ultimate 30 Pull Up Challenge. He nonchalantly says that meant he did just finished 80 pull ups, in 4 sets of 20 reps. *Insert shocked face emoji* Yeeeeah, no biggie. Here I am sitting on my fat blogger butt not able to do a single pull up, but look how pretty my nails are!

31DC2016 Day 13: Beetle Nails

Today's prompt for the 31 Day Challenge is "animal print" . As much as I love a leopard or zebra pattern, last night I was exhausted and went for something super simple. Beetle nails aren't exactly a print, but it falls into the animal category at least. What counts is that the nails are pretty!

Mani Swap With @talialouisenails

Hello ladies! I have some fun nail art to share with you today! This week the very talented @talialouisenails and I did a mani swap, and this was my recreation of a design she did awhile ago. As soon as I first saw her post this adorable neon polka dot design I saved in my "to-try" folder, and when the opportunity came to do a swap with her I immediately knew I would choose this one!

Rica Down The Shore Collection Swatches and Review

Hello lovelies! Coming back from the holiday weekend, today feels like a Monday, so I'm a little thrown off that it's Tuesday already. To get your work week started right I have some bright and cheery polishes to show you! This collection is inspired by New Jersey, the place creator Ricarda calls home.

G.N.O.M.E. Box May 2016

Once again I've been drawn in by the gorgeous offerings of this month's G.N.O.M.E. (Glitter Nerds Of Magical Existence) Box. After purchasing the January and February boxes I restrained myself for a couple months, but couldn't pass this one up. Let's take a look!

March 2016 Magic 8 Box: 80's Love Songs

I've been wanting to share this post for the last couple of weeks but I've had trouble finishing it because I have been so sleep deprived. I feel half brain dead right now so please forgive me for any missteaks. First things first, I want to let you know this box is no longer available. Sorry! But since I went to the effort of purchasing the box and trying them all out, I wanted to show you the polishes and let you know what I thought of them.

G.N.O.M.E. Box February 2016

Howdy everyone! How is your Saturday shaping up so far? Today I have some swatches for you from the February G.N.O.M.E. box I recently purchased. After being so pleased with trying the box for the first time last month (I reviewed it here), I knew I would be looking out for future releases. But maybe last month's was just a fluke. I was hoping it was a least, so I didn't feel the need to spend more money! Well you don't have to guess how I felt about these polishes, because obviously I shelled out the money again. Now let's see how I liked them in person.

Squishy Hearts Valentine Pond Manicure

I have a quick Saturday nail art post for y'all! Hope everyone's having a great weekend. So I finally did my first pond manicure! What do you think? I love it! With the hearts hiding under the squishy layers, it's like a secret Valentine's Day mani. Shhh.. don't tell anyone.

G.N.O.M.E. Box January 2016

Hey there! I have some gorgeous polishes to show you that I just acquired a few days ago. These three polishes are part of January's G.N.O.M.E. (Glitter Nerds Of Magical Existence) Box. I had never heard of this box before, I had gnome idea it existed. Apparently it is a regular collaboration with the makers Stardust Polish and Rica. I got turned onto this box because of the guest collaborator this month, Philly Loves Lacquer. The PLL polish was too stunning not to notice! I've tried the brand before and was pretty sure it would be a win (I swatched her Spring collection last year). I have been wanting to try more indie brands this year and I thought this would be a great chance to check out a couple more. These don't officially go on sale until Friday the 15th, but they had a kind of pre-sale on Saturday and I bought mine then. I was super impressed that they arrived in the mail two days later!
