Sally Hansen Insta-Dri x Crayola Glam Rock Collection

Hello my lovely Society Sisters! I am excited to share this new collection from Sally Hansen! They have teamed up again with Crayola to create a twelve piece collection in their Insta-Dri line that is right on this current metallic trend. The formula is smooth, streak-free, and covers in one coat! Added bonus for you nail art lovers is that they stamp too! Because I perfect a smoother, more cushioned look, I used two coats plus top coat for each swatch. Let's take a look..

31DC2016 Day 8: Camouflage Polka Dots

Hey ladies! I've got another short and sweet post for you today. Busy busy busy again, and starting to freak out a little! Today's prompt for the 31 Day Challenge is metallic and I used one of my most used polishes, Essie Good As Gold. It stamps like a gem and compliments almost any color. I started off with a smoosh marble base of four different shades that created a camouflage-ish look. Then I stamped on the negative space polka dot image over it and there you have it!

Metallic and Glass Fleck Autumn Leaves

Once again I have here some nail art that I loved wearing, but struggled photographing. One day I will master the camera! You know, when I have time for that... Anyway, this was super colorful and sparkly, but I couldn't capture it properly. I think you can still get the gist of it though. What do you think?

31DC2014 Day 08: Metallic Gold Leaf

When I was brainstorming ideas for the Metallic prompt my thoughts turned to gold leaf. Then I thought, hmm...gold leaf. Wah wah. It amused me, so I went with it. And looked how it worked out. I absolutely love it!

31DC2013 Day 08: Metallic Nails

Taking Sundays off mean my Mondays are pretty full! I don't know how descriptive I'll be in these posts because I'm really crunched for time. Hopefully the photos will make up for it!

I came up with way too many ideas for today's metallic theme, and it took me forever to decide. I asked for my husband's opinion, and he suggested a black and silver gradient. Great. I knew that would look good, which didn't help at all. It was just one more idea to decide from! I knew I needed to combine a couple of them so I wouldn't be stuck forever trying to decide on just one. So here it is, a lovely black and silver gradient with a metallic fishtail.

You could argue that this is heavier on the "glitter" side than "metallic". I say it still counts.

My philosophy: When you can't decide on which pictures to include, just throw in a bunch of them!

What I used:
Zoya Storm- black with glitter
piCture pOlish Heavy Metal- silver glitter
Ulta High Roller- champagne gold foil
Sephora by OPI Is She For Reel?- gunmetal with gold and silver glitter

Again, I didn't add much description, so please let me know if you have any questions! Hope you like it!
