Hello lovelies! How are things? Waking up to an overcast sky has me feeling very happy! It's been ages since we've had any rain and I am so ready. Today's post features the new Colores de Carol Beach Neons collection which includes four pastel neon crellies and two colorful glitter toppers. The neon shades are very cute and sweet, and a nice alternative if you aren't into tradition neon shades. I usually expect to have a little trouble with application when using pastel shades and I definitely did with these. I tried applying in thin coats to build them up but still struggled to get them to even out. However if you use a different "hand" in application it may not be an issue for you. Let's take a look..
Sea la Vie is a bright bubblegum pink crelly. Shown is four coats plus top coat.
Beach Balls is a clear base with crystal rainbow glitter, and holo flakes. The sheer glitters are really cute but unfortunately the glitter had curled and sticks out through top coat. Shown is one coat over Sea la Vie, plus top coat.
Chillin' & Grillin' is a bright peachy coral crelly. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
Splash Zone is a holographic base with neon dots in various colors and sizes. I use the dab and glide method for placing large glitters on the nail. There is lots of holo in the base and I think it looks really cute over lots of different colors. Shown is one coat over Chillin' & Grillin'.
Life's a Beach is a bright light green crelly. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
Surf's Up is a bright lilac crelly. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
