Hello lovelies! I swear these months are just flying by like crazy. Already we upon July's The Holo Hookup box which features a colorful palette and fun festival theme. This month the contributors are the three permanent indie brands- Cupcake Polish, Different Dimension, and Glisten & Glow- with guest brand Great Lakes Lacquer!
Cupcake Polish "Wildflower Child" is a neon purple linear holographic nail polish filled with glowing blue iridescent flakies, fine blue microglitter, gold flakies, and pink/gold/orange iridescent flakies. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
Inspired by the Wildflower Festival in Richardson, TX where Cupcake Polish is created. The Wildflower Festival promotes the cultivation of regional wildflower, musicians, and local artists as well as bringing in nationally popular acts to headline the music
festival.
For this look I used UberChic Beauty Radiate Love and Maniology BM-S305 stamping plates and Painted Polish Stamped in Rose, Stamped in Living Coral, and Stamped in Guava.
Different Dimension "500 Festival" is a highlighter yellow jelly based polish filled with blue/green/gold iridescent color shifting flakies, iridescent color shifting glitters, and holographic microflakies with a subtle holographic effect. The formula is pretty sheer and it took some effort to apply evenly and build up that coverage. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
Inspired by the 500 Festival which is a month-long festival in Indianapolis, IN which is where Different Dimension is headquartered. 500 Festival spans the entire month of May and includes sporting events, parades, musical performances, and community events to celebrate the Indianapolis 500 race.
For this look I used MoYou London Holy Shapes 02 stamping plate and Girly Bits It's Definitely Him.
Glisten & Glow "Peace, Love & Music" is a neon red holo polish with color shifting iridescent flakes. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
Inspired by the iconic Woodstock Festival which is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary with another legendary festival in August 2019. Woodstock just may be the greatest concert ever!
For this look I used UberChic Beauty Wild Luxury: Warm Blooded and Maniology Just A Girl and Her Nails M005 stamping plate, and Maniology Teepee Tipping, yellow, Empire Club, Jazzercise, and Little Foot stamping polishes.
GUEST MAKER: Great Lakes Lacquer "BYOS (Bring Your Own Shanty)" is a vivid, frozen lake blue linear holographic infused with a green shifting shimmer and shards of green to blue to purple iridescent flakes. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
Inspired by Houghton Lakes annual Tip Up Town, Michigan’s premier ice fishing festival. There are many activities besides ice fishing contests to indulge in, like the turkey bowling contest and the polar bear dip. Winter is never boring at Houghton Lake’s Tip Up Town. Just make sure to BYOS.
For this look I used Lina Nail Art Summer 01 stamping plate and Painted Polish Blanc Slate.
