31DC2013 Day 31: Honor Nails You Love

Day 31!! I made it through the entire Challenge! Being so new to blogging, I honestly didn't know if I had the stamina to make it to the end. I am so pleased to find that I do, and that I pushed myself not to cop out. What really carried me through was all the support and encouragement I got from everyone. So a big, fat, Thank You! to y'all.
Today is about honoring nails you love. Again, there were way too many options for me to choose from. I wanted to do something both beautiful and achievable, so I chose this manicure by Alice from One Nail To Rule Them All.

Alice always has such cute, playful designs that I love to draw inspiration from. Fortunately for me she has also put much time and effort into making tutorials for many of them. Her tutorial made this pretty straightforward.

One reason I love this design, besides it being adorable, is that it's Cath Kidston inspired. I love her stationary, and own quite a bit of it. Come to think of it, I actually just received a sweet thank-you card from a friend this week that was on Cath Kidston stationary. She obviously has good taste.

What I used:
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Blue-Away- blue
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Pink Blink- light pink
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Rose Rum- darker pink
Sephora by OPI White Hot- white
Sephora by OPI It's Totally Karma- green
Seche Vite top coat

I can't believe that whole month flew by. So what's next? Well, I am still participating in the 33 Day Challenge that started last week. I just need to catch up with the post I missed on Monday. I can't wait for all the fun manicures this second challenge will inspire!

  1. I literally said, out loud, "That's precious!" I LOVE this one!

  2. This is just the cutest! in love!

  3. Congratulations on enduring to the end of the challenge. I've really seen your skills and creativity grow. I look forward to each new post.

  4. just attempts at this did not come out all that great despite it looks like it should be not too hard!

    1. Just takes patience. And trying to fudge where you screw up. :)

  5. Combining two of your hobbies: letter writing and nail art. You did an amazing job on this manicure! I think it looks even better than the tutorial that you followed.

I am so proud of you, Emmy! I have eagerly looked forward to your posts every day and have been amazed by your talent and the growth of your skills. I can't wait you see what this new challenge inspires you to do!

    1. That's what I love about this. It's like a love letter to love letters. ;)
