Hello lovelies! Today I have swatches of ORLY's Radical Optimism collection to share. This collection is part of the Spring 2019 Color Pass Box that also includes a full sized ORLY Nailtriation Nail Growth Treatment and a deluxe sample of Purlisse Watermelon Energizing Aqua Balm. The moisturizer has a yummy scent that I would rather have in a lip product and not all over the face, but I'll give it a try anyway. OH! And a sticker! I am obsessed with stickers and that seriously was the most exciting part about this box for me. I've stuck it to my Helmer organizer alongside my other stickers. Now let's not forget about the beautiful nail polish. I am enjoying the happy color palette and the formulas were consistently good for all six shades.

Flamingo Nails With ALIQUID Lacquer Bona Dea

Hello my lovelies! Today I have some nail art that I've been wanting to create for weeks and weeks and have just now finally gotten around to it. ALIQUID Lacquer Bona Dea was released back in December (end of November?) and I bought it the moment it came out. Coral with golden shimmer has been a favorite combination of mine for years (check out my very first post!). The golden flecks in this polish had me swooning and I knew it had to be mine!

It's about time I did some kind of nail art, specifically Halloween related nail art. The great thing about this mani is that it's not obviously Halloween so it looks good any time of year! I've worn Imperial on it's own before (swatched here), and I am still as in love with it as I was before.

Orly Mirrorball Springtime Skittle

Happy Spring everyone! I hope the weather is as beautiful in your part of the world as it is in mine today. I know it's officially been Spring for awhile but this is the first nail art I've done this year that is perfect for the season. (Fortunately I had the foresight to do this mani before my smashed hand incident) This was my first time using Orly Mirrorball and I thought it went perfectly with the pastel shades. Those featured pastels are the three Maybelline Color Show polishes that I won from Imperfectly Painted's giveaway. Thanks again Stephanie!

Blooming Valentine Hearts

31DC2014 Day 26: Kamon Inspired Pattern

For today's Inspired by a Pattern prompt I chose this image representational of Japanese kamon, emblems or crests that identify a family. This particular kamon is repeating in a beautiful tiled design. During my trip to Japan a few years ago I noticed similar images at every temple and castle we visited. Most of them consist of a floral or botanic motif. I loved discovering the different variations of each kamon from place to place.

Glitzy Gradient Tips

Remember a couple weeks ago when I did my Glitzy Pinterest Nails? I said that you would probably see more combinations of these polishes in the future. Well it didn't take me long to do another one. My idea was to do a gradient with the cream and lilac colors. I knew it would be subtle as in, so-subtle-the-photos-don't-show-it, but I did it anyway. I still am working on my glitter gradients. Glitzy Pinterest Nails

If you've spent anytime at all browsing nails on Pinterest, you've seen something like this. I've never done a mani quite like this, with the densely glittered nail. Yesterday I went to Sally Beauty and found these three polishes on clearance. When I brought them home I realized how great they looked together. It was destiny. I instantly thought of the manis I see on Pinterest all the time and figured it was worth a try to see if I liked it. Well, there is a reason there a bijillion manis like this. Because it's so darn sparkly and lovely!
