Polish Pickup October 2020: Animation

*Press Samples

Hello lovelies! I'm a day late with this post but there are still three more days of the October Polish Pickup event! So if you scroll through and see something you like there should still be time to snatch it up. With Animation as the theme there was quite the diversity of colors and finishes (in both my swatches, and the rest offered on the site). Let's take a look..

by Dany Vianna Card Captor Sakura is a white (hot) to pink (cold) thermal with a mix of gold flakes and red glitters. This is just a little on the thicker side with all the white pigment. $12, US cap 280

Cupcake Polish Tale As Old As Time is a yellow jelly filled with red shimmer and flakies, and tiny holo flakies. The formula was smooth and easy to apply. Shown is three coats plus top coat. $13, no cap

Different Dimension Best Day Ever! is an ocean blue crelly with green/gold/pink iridescent color shifting flakes, neon pink and neon yellow glitters, color-shifting aurora shimmers and holographic microflakies. It is a slightly thicker formula, but not hard to work with. Shown is three coats plus top. $12, no cap

Different Dimension Cuticle Oil duo: Cuticle oil duo in 'Who Lives In A Pineapple Under The Sea' (Tropical pineapple with vanilla and coconut notes), and 'Secret Formula' (Fresh banana blended with sweet grapefruit, mandarin orange, kiwi, coconut cream, pink raspberries, strawberries and apple) $7/ no cap

KBShimmer Moumantai is a deep indigo jelly with green/turquoise/cobalt/gold shifting flakes. The formula is really thick with flakes but I was able to distribute them well and evenly. Shown is two coats plus top coat. $10, no cap

KBShimmer Strawberries and Cream Sugar Scrub is scented.. just as the name suggests. This is a yummy smelling one! I like to use the Sugar Scrub on my legs before I shave because the oils work well in place of a shaving cream. $10, no cap

Painted Polish Friend Like Me is an off-white creme with tiny red, gold, aqua, and deep blue glitters. Application was smooth and easy. It looks good in two coats but I like doing three for full opacity. $12, 350 US cap

Rogue Lacquer Goin' Down the Bayou is an antique gray crelly with gold/green/copper color-shifting flakes and micro holo flakes. It's still a little sheer after two coats but I kept it at that so as not to be too thick. $12.50, no cap

These products are available for a limited time, October 2-5, only at polishpickup.com
