Yes! It's that time once again.. We are entering neon season and I am so ready! Indie brand Turtle Tootsie Polishes has created a bright summery collection consisting of six holographic neons, one glitter crelly, and one holographic glitter topper. The Jailbird Collection theme and individual polish names are just as playful as the colors. It reminds me of these Valentine's Day printables I created a couple years back that are on a similar vein. The neon formula was slightly thick but self leveled well. As is typical of neons they all dry down to a dull finish, so I've applied a glossy top coat to each one.
Turtle Tootsie Polishes are all 5-free which means they are free from the chemicals: DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, and Camphor.
Crime Of Passion is a deep pink holographic neon. Shown is two coats, plus top coat.
Caution Tape is a yellow green holographic neon. Shown is two coats, plus top coat.
Taze Me is a kelly green holographic neon. Shown is two coats, plus top coat.
Temporary Insanity Shown is a clear based holographic topper with various sized matte neon glitters. This formula was easy to work with and I got good glitter placement with the dab and glide method. Shown is one coat over black, plus top coat.
The Jailbird Collection will be releasing at Polish Con (NYC, April 29th) and will be $70/full size set and $40/mini size set exclusively at the event. They will be available on the website April 30th at noon EST. Individual polishes will retail for $10/full size $6/mini size. The full set will be available for $75/full size and $45/mini size.
