BLUSH Lacquers In The Garden Cremes + Opposites Attract Shimmers + Wedding Duo

Hello lovely Society Sisters! I have a real photo heavy post for you today so you might want to grab a snack for this one. BLUSH Lacquers has created six garden inspired cremes (really they're creme/jellies in my book) and six coordinating shimmers that can be worn alone or paired with a creme. I've included photos of them as I just mentioned- alone and paired over a creme. A note about the creme/jelly shades: these formulas are usually a little finicky on the first coat so you need to make sure you don't overwork it. I also have the wedding duo which Victoria has created for her own wedding! So yay! Congrats to her :) Let's get to the swatches..

Hello lovelies! How are things? Waking up to an overcast sky has me feeling very happy! It's been ages since we've had any rain and I am so ready. Today's post features the new Colores de Carol Beach Neons collection which includes four pastel neon crellies and two colorful glitter toppers. The neon shades are very cute and sweet, and a nice alternative if you aren't into tradition neon shades. I usually expect to have a little trouble with application when using pastel shades and I definitely did with these. I tried applying in thin coats to build them up but still struggled to get them to even out. However if you use a different "hand" in application it may not be an issue for you. Let's take a look..

The Holo Hookup August 2019: Great Outdoors

Hello lovely Society Sisters! Once upon a time, summer was my favorite season and I was loathe to see it end. Now that I'm old and curmudgeonly I am celebrating it being halfway over! August's The Holo Hookup box theme is "Great Outdoors", which I plan on enjoying more of once the weather cools down. For now it's one of two options- the swimming pool or inside with the AC cranked up. This month's box features limited shades from the three permanent indie brands- Cupcake Polish, Different Dimension, and Glisten & Glow- with guest brand Noodles Nail Polish!

Six Year Blogiversary GIVEAWAY

Hello lovely Society Sisters! I can't believe it's been another year and I'm still at this crazy hobby of mine! I guess I must really enjoy nail polish or something :P

Before I've done some reminiscing on past blogiversaries, like my first one (here) where I noticed HUGE improvements and in another post I broke down some facts with a fun infographic. For my fourth blogiversary I selected my top 16 favorite blog posts, which was the smallest number I could whittle them down to! Last year was year five and I had thought I would plan something fun, but my baby #4 was two weeks old soooo... nope. This year I'm just excited to have my life halfway put together. But I figured I could organize a nice giveaway for all you awesome followers who have been so supportive of my blog. Thank you to all of you, old and new alike!
