OPI Spring/Summer 2017 Fiji Collection

*purchased by me (except for one)

Hello friends! Today I have swatches for the OPI Fiji Collection for Spring/Summer 2017. I bought the twelve piece collection plus two of the three Ulta exclusives. While I like the majority of the shades, they aren't
the most original of colors. I found the quality of formulas all over the place so I'll be writing more about that in each description. Let's take a look..

Coconuts Over OPI is a light taupe creme. This had a great formula and applied very nicely. Shown is two coats, no top coat.

No Tan Lines is a cheesy orange creme. This was not flattering on my pale skin tone but could see it working for darker skin tones. The formula was a little streaky on first coat, and needed three coats for full coverage. Shown without top coat.

Is That A Spear In Your Pocket? is a dusty teal creme. This was one of my favorites because of the great formula and lovely color. Shown is two coats, no top coat.

Super Trop-i-cal-i-fiji-istic is a slightly dusty cobalt blue creme. With my thicker application it's just about a one coater! Of course I still did two, no top coat. The downside to this one is it slightly stained my cuticles, so take care how you apply.

Do You Sea What I Sea? is a medium blue with reflective turquoise shimmer. The formula was good and the finish was not streaky like I expected (except I messed up on my ring finger). I liked it much more than I thought I would! Shown is two coats, no top coat.

Suzi Without A Paddle is a baby blue creme. This one had another streaky formula, typical for a pastel. Shown is three coats, no top coat.

Polly Want A Lacquer? is a lavender creme. The formula was disappointing as it was runny and at the same time didn't self level well. Shown is three coats, no top coat.

Exotic Birds Do Not Tweet is a bright yellow creme. Shown is three coats, no top coat.

Two-timing the Zones is a bubblegum pink creme. Shown is three coats, no top coat.

I Can Never Hut Up is a medium gray creme with very subtle green shimmer. Although this not be a real stunning color, it is certainly unique to any gray polishes I own. Shown is two coats, no top coat.

Living on the Bula-vard is a intense coral orange creme. This is my kind of Summer color! The formula self levels well but it still took three coats for complete coverage. Shown without top coat. (This was the one I didn't buy myself and received as a PR sample from Octoly)

Hand Me My Sunglasses is a medium coral orange creme. Application was good but took three coats, no top coat.

Ulta Exclusives

Getting Nadi On My Honeymoon is a pastel pink creme. I love really light pinks and think this color is so lovely. It applied streaky, but self leveled well. Shown is three coats, no top coat.

Tropical Me On My Cell is a subdued honeydew green creme. I was intrigued by the color because I don't have anything close to it. The formula however turned out to be both runny and streaky. Shown is three coats (four on my pinky), no top coat.

What do you think of the collection? My favorites are Is That A Spear In Your Pocket?, Living on the Bula-vard, Super Trop-i-cal-i-fiji-istic, and Do You Sea What I Sea? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
