Hello my lovely Society Sisters! April's The Holo Hookup theme is "Mythical Creatures" and each one is magical and ethereal! These light shades are perfect for Spring without being obvious pastel shades. Because of the light and delicate quality of these polishes they were especially hard to capture all the little details. So just trust that the photos don't do them justice! This month the contributors are the three permanent indie brands- Cupcake Polish, Different Dimension, and Glisten & Glow- with guest brand Illyrian Polish!
Different Dimension "Alicorn" is a light pastel purple creme based linear holographic polish with iridescent color shifting flakies and color shifting shimmer. The holo is really subtle on the nail even though it looks more prominent in the bottle. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
For this look I used Painted Polish Blanc Slate, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Plummet, and What's Up Nails B014 stamping plate.
Cupcake Polish "Nereid" is a pale dove grey holographic packed with blue/pink/orange iridescent flakies, orange/green/red shifting glitters, and blue/pink shifting shimmers. I swear this brand is always the hardest the photograph, haha! The polish has such delicate details that are just impossible to capture, but so pretty on the nail. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
For this look I sponged on Painted Polish Blanc Slate, stamped with Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and Maniology BM-S229 stamping plate.
Glisten & Glow "Centaur" is a light mauve-y pastel pink holographic with color shifting iridescent flakes and pink holo microglitters. This one is subtle, but so gorgeous! It's a color that is almost neutral but very flattering with lots of depth. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
For this look I used Painted Polish Midnight Mischief and It Girl LE 107 and Maniology M001 stamping plates
Illyrian Polish "Sylph" is a pale seafoam base packed with holo, micro holo flakes and holo sparkles with teal/purple, pink/gold/green & gold/pink/orange iridescent flakes. This has lots of flakies but applied very nicely. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
For this look I used Powder Perfect Silver stamping polish, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Re-teal Therapy, and Maniology x Justagirlandhernails M005 stamping plate.
