Powder Perfect Halloween Duo 2016

It's been awhile since my last Powder Perfect review and I'm so pleased to be sharing this gorgeous duo with you today. And can we say YASSSSS for Halloween?! This is probably favorite time of year and I am just soaking it up right now. Both of these polishes are very unique and perfect for this time of year. "Inspired by the three witch's poem from William Shakespeare's Macbeth, our Halloween duo this year is fiendishly wicked! This witchy twosome features complex finishes in unusual shades that perfectly capture the spirit of Halloween."

Formula and application:
Powder Perfect polishes are all 5-free (meaning no Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor). Both formulas are really nice, though Cauldron Bubble takes a bit more care in application with the amount of flakies.

Bottle and brush:
The bottles contain 11ml. The brushes are flat with a medium width, a shape I really prefer. The length is medium sized and flexes well for application.

Toil and Trouble is " a murky olive green with contrasting pink iridescent flakies and gold holographic glitters". You know I'm not typically a green lover, but strange ugly/pretty shades like this are so fun and interesting. The flakies and gold glitters give it a lot of depth and gives it a little sparkle. It dries down dull, and this was two coats with top coat.

Cauldron Bubble is a "darkened multichrome lacquer that shifts from purple to green and features our amazing copperfuchsia-green ultra chameleon chrome flakies". This is a combination of colors and flakies that I've never seen before, so mysterious and beautiful. The first coat is really sheer, but it built up nicely with a thicker second coat. Shown with top coat.

Each polish retails for $13AUD/USD  or $24 for both, and can be purchased from the Australian Powder Perfect website or the US Powder Perfect website.
