Sinful Colors x Vanessa Hudgens Festival Collection

*press sample

Hello lovelies! I am stoked about today's post! I was so thrilled to hear from the brand Sinful Colors when they reached out to see if I'd like to review their newest collection. Sinful Colors is known for their seriously affordable prices and quality formulas. My local drugstores are never good at stocking their new shades so I jumped at the chance to get my hands on these.

The new face of Sinful Colors (it's a full cosmetic line) is Vanessa Hudgens and they have teamed up to create this twelve piece festival inspired collection. There is a wide variety of colors and finishes, some of which I found really hard to describe but I did my best! These lived up to their reputation and all had nice to great formulas. Let's get to it..

Hands Up is a raspberry pink shimmer with pink/silver glass flecks. The formula applies nice and smooth. There are slight brush strokes but they're not that visible. Shown is two coats plus top coat.

My Tribe is a burnt pumpkin orange creme with a subtle magenta shimmer. Weirdly my photos make it look like the shimmer is gold but it's not. Another nice smooth formula. Shown is two coats plus top coat.

Mystical is a warm amber bronze shimmer with tiny sparks of gold. This shade is unlike any bronze I own and I love how warm toned it is! The formula is great and the brush strokes are pretty subtle. Shown is two coats plus top coat.

Wonder is a light salmon creme. I've always loved shades like this and the formula is nice and smooth. Shown is two coats plus top coat.

Desert Dreams is a light pineapple yellow-gold shimmer with gold flakies. Sorry I'm just not a fan of this color or this finish. I always feel like flakies and shimmer combined give a kind of chunky appearance. It did apply nicely though. Shown is two coats plus top coat.

About Last Night is a reflective yellow gold foil. Holy Goldfinger! This shade is not within my typical style but I can't deny how awesome it is. The formula is great and there are no brush strokes. Shown is two coats plus top coat.

Believe in Love is a bright sky blue creme. This is a perfect staple shade with a great formula. Shown is two coats plus top coat.

Shimmy Shimmy is a lapis blue with purple shimmer and light blue flakies. I was ready to not like this finish because again I usually don't like the combo of shimmer and flakies but somehow it all fits together better here. The shade is so original for a mainstream polish! Shown is two coats plus top coat.

Road Trip is a bright turquoise with aqua flecks. I LOVE this color! It's my favorite of the whole collection. The flecks are really visible because the base is on the more sheer side. Shown is three coats plus top coat.

Spaced Out is a shimmery lilac with pink flecks. I think I might like this shade better in a different finish. I don't like how visible the brush strokes are. Shown is two coats plus top coat.

Beet Goes On is a saturated grape with blue flecks. This purple is gorgeous! Another great formula and I love how visible the blue flecks are. Shown is two coats plus top coat.

Festival Fairy is a pearly silver with iridescent sparkle. I'm going back and forth on this one! It's not brush stroke-y like I expected and the color is really pretty on the swatch wheel. I just don't know if it "does" anything for me. Shown is two coats plus top coat.

The limited edition Festival collection is available at Ulta and retails for $2.99 each. Availability may be limited, especially when looking for the Hard To Find shade Shimmy Shimmy.

Have you got you hands on any of these shades? Which ones are your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!
