Hello lovely Society Sisters! How was your weekend? I came down with the stomach flu for the FOURTH time this year. So that was fun. But enough feeling sorry for myself, let's talk about polish. KBShimmer has teamed up with Bestselling author Emily Liebert and created a gorgeous duo inspired by Liebert's new book PRETTY REVENGE. 

 The two shades are named after the two main characters, reflecting their personalities. I was sent the book along with the polishes which was fun to understand the inspiration. The book is a really fast read and grabs you from the start. It's a perfect vacation book- one that you finish in a short amount of time and doesn't take a lot of thought. Hello lovelies! I have swatches of the China Glaze Body & Sol collection. As a fan of nude/neutral polishes I really enjoyed these! Not all of them were flattering on my skin tone but I used about four of them together for a smoosh nail art mani (here) and see myself combining colors again in the future. The formula and application varied from shade to shade but none of them were real duds. There is one shade though that is one of my new favorite China Glaze's. Can you guess which one?..

Who else is in the neon-all-the-things mode? Bright colors make my heart happy! KBShimmer has created seven beautifully toned bleached neon cremes and three bright multichrome flakie toppers in this vacation-ready collection. Of course the last time I went somewhere tropical was about 15 years ago, but I can dream! Now neon shades are notoriously tricky so these don't self level magically as most KBShimmer cremes do. I took some care and some time to do three thin layers with most of them. But maybe with a different application style you could do two. I am willing to put in a little more effort with these because the colors are just so dreamy. Let's take a look..

Hello lovelies! Are you ready for some more beauties today? Is your wallet suffering like mine this month? All of these gorgeous summer colors are making my heart happy! I have six shades from Rogue Lacquer to share that were debuted at the Indie Shop in Anaheim this past weekend. The four neon shades are from the "Come Ride With Me" collection inspired by well loved Disneyland rides. These are creme/jelly formulas- heavy on the jelly- that are sheer to really make those color shifting flakies shine. Hello lovelies! Today I have some new Sally Hansen Insta-Dri shades to share! All six of these shades are matte but I personally preferred the sparkly look with glossy top coat. I included swatches of both so you can see for yourself. I'm a fan of the Insta-Dri line (I swear I own most of them) but the brush is always the one thing that I think could be improved on. While it's just a bit to big usually, all of these brushes were cut unevenly :(. Let's get to the swatches..
