KBShimmer Hubble'd Together (Polish Pick Up April 2018 Exclusive)

Hello lovelies! Are you ready for the April Polish Pick Up? If you're new around these parts, let me explain. The PPU is a monthly shop open for four days only where 30+ indie polish makers create an exclusive polish based on a theme. April's theme is "Across the Universe: Planets and Galaxies". The photo Christy chose for her inspiration is fantastic and this is what she has to say about it-

"Hubble, the world's first large, space-based optical telescope, has taken many beautiful pictures of
the planets and stars. Our April Polish Pick Up contribution pays homage to the Hubble, with this
polish based on a photo it took of Jupiter, its three moons and their shadows."

KBShimmer If You Want My Bodice (Polish Pick Up March 2018 Exclusive)

Hey hey! I'm here with another shade for the March Polish Pick Up book theme. Christy from KBShimmer was inspired by this fantastical cover of a romance novel, otherwise known as a "bodice ripper". With a cover this ridiculous I can only imagine what the book is like! Haha!

Colores de Carol Nerd Alert (Polish Pick Up February 2018 Exclusive)

Hello friends! I'm back as promised with another Polish Pick Up shade for February. This is Colores de Carol Nerd Alert and as you can see, Carolina was inspired by rainbow nerds. As yes, I have been eating the nerds in the photo. I'm not much of a candy person, but I couldn't resist!

KBShimmer Rock This Way (Polish Pick Up February 2018 Exclusive)

Hey indie polish lovers! Are you on board the Polish Pick Up train? If not, you are really missing out! It's my favorite thing to have happened to the indie polish world since its inception within the last six month. It's a great place to try out new-to-you brands, and favorite brands alike. The only problem is that the website (which is now hosting dozens of brands) is only open for four days each months. So you have to be on your game to snag these exclusive polishes. I am thrilled that for the first time KBShimmer will be joining the line up! February's theme (there's always a theme for PPU) is "Sugar Rush" and Christy was inspired by rock candy. Let's look at the swatches..

Summer is over! Yay!! At least the kids are in school, now I'm just waiting for the temps to drop below 90 degrees. I was planning on finishing this post yesterday but I instead enjoyed the eclipse! It was a super cool event to share with my kids. Speaking of Fall, I have for you an exclusive shade for next month's Polish Pickup! The Polish Pickup is a collaboration between many indie brands where they each make a shade based on that month's theme that is available for a limited time. The great thing is that it's not a box, so you don't have to buy any shades you don't like. They're available on an individual bases. Let's take a look at next month's Fall Foliage & Fun offering by Colores de Carol..

Today I have a limited edition polish inspired by the one and only Grace Kelly. Those who know me well know that I LOVE classic movies. For many years of my childhood we didn't have access to tv but instead watched movies, lots and lots of them. My Dad introduced use to all the best classics, which of course included movies like "Rear Window" and "Dial M for Murder", my two favorite Grace Kelly movies. She may not have been in that many movies (becoming a princess is a life changer I guess), but she made a lasting impact on Hollywood. Let's take a look at the polish..
